I originally trained as a counsellor after my own experiences of the transformative power of counselling and therapy. I saw the value and benefits of having someone who can offer me a space to be myself and to talk openly about what was going on for me.
This led me to my personal and professional philosophy that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life if we are offered the right support when we need it.
I use a range of counselling techniques in my work, depending on your issues, needs and preferences. From open-ended 'talking' therapies to more structured CBT approaches, we can work together to find an approach that suits you and addresses whatever you are going through right now.
I am very proud of my track record of working successfully with a range of issues including anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, depression, relationship difficulties, loneliness, sex and sexuality, anger - and more. I have undergone many additional training courses to ensure that I am fully able to work with these issues safely and effectively.
My clients regularly comment on the positive impact that counselling with me has had on their quality of life and, through this, I have built a strong reputation for high-impact therapy.
I'm registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold full professional insurance.
